Your mom

Thu Apr 20, 2006, 6:56 AM
Well, just to be cool and post something worth reading since I haven't in a while.

Well, spring break is pretty much boring. Today's the only day I've done anything worth mentioning. It was fun. We should do it more often..

My mom got mad because I reffered to our 'home' as a doublewide. It is a doublewide. But apparently I'm heartless and care nothing about anyone else's feelings because I called the damn doublewide a double wide. It IS A DOUBLEWIDE. But apparently, it's derrogatory? How is it derrogatory? I'm calling it what it is. But no, she flipped out... Because it's a HOME not a doublewide! Can't it just be both? Why the hell can't it be..? Then she started lecturing me on Serial Killers... What the HELL does that have to do with doublewides?... I don't even remember where she got that from, it was that random. OH! Now I do. She was talking about how people on the news are heartless because they say "The trailer has burned down at such-and-such" instead of "This poor families' home has burned down..". Which is stupid. They say what they're told to say, and refferring to it as a trailer, simply tells people it was a trailer, not a huge mansion. A home could be a trashcan, for god's sake. You have to specify. Then she went on about how Dan Rather (or whatever) was 'emotional' and 'in touch' because he'd cry when he reported really bad stories. And how no one else did. Then we got onto the topic of Cannibalism.. Or some crap. Meh.

Then she got pissed off because I use the word rape too much. And I only use to it mock them. "Yeah, because some hippy is going to come rape me", "I know, some massive black guy's going to rape me", "Then I can go be gang-raped!", etc. And she told me I used it too loosely.. Something about me being immature (Hah, funny..) and that I needed to keep a 'rein on Kendra' and keep her from getting too 'boy crazy'.

Anyways, is everyone's mom like that? o.O It's weird, my parents claim to be just like everyone else but they're insane....

Meh. I'll stop complaining now.
I love you allllllllllllllllllllllllllll

And I'm leaving for Florida in the morning
*Hates Florida with the fire of a thousand burning suns*
